Taylor County High School hosted the 20th District Governor's Cup on Saturday, January 25, 2025. District Academic Teams from Campbellsville, LaRue, Marion, and Taylor competed in competitions that included composition, academic tests, and quick recall.
TCHS placed FIRST in quick recall, and several students placed or won their individual tests! Congratulations to the following:
Math - 1st Place: Jaxon McCubbin
Science - 1st Place: Ismail Gilani
Arts & Humanities - 4th Place: Adelyn Bradstreet
Math - 4th Place: Ismail Gilani
The quick recall team and those mentioned above will advance to regionals, which will take place at Elizabethtown High School on Saturday, February 22.
The TCHS Academic Team is coached by Ashley Neal and Sydney Newton.
